Simple Preparation Steps

Before You Arrive

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment so we can complete check-in, scheduling, and payment.

Our care team will walk you through each part of the process and answer any questions you may have — so you can focus on healing and feeling your best.

Pre-Procedure Instructions

To ensure your safety and comfort during treatment, please review the following guidelines:

    Fasting
    Do not eat or drink anything for 6 hours prior to your infusion. (Treatments may be rescheduled if this guideline is not followed).
  • 2
    Medication
    You may take your regular medications as prescribed, including the day of your infusion.
  • 3
    Clothing
    Wear comfortable clothing. You are welcome to bring a blanket or cozy sweater.
  • 4
    Set an Intention
    Consider a positive or productive intention for your treatment session.
  • 5
    Arrival
    Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled treatment time.

    Payment
    Payment is due at the time of treatment.
    ● Ketamine Infusion (1 hour Low Dose): $375.00
    ● Ketamine Infusion (1 hour High Dose): $525.00
    ● Ketamine Infusion (4 hour High Dose): $1650.00
    ● Nitrous Oxide Treatment: $565.00
    ● We accept cash and major credit cards.

    Music
    Bring headphones and some of your favorite happy, relaxing music without lyrics to enjoy during your infusion or inhalation.
  • 8
    Cancellation Policy
    ● Please provide at least 24 hours notice of any cancellation by email or text.
    ● Failure to do so will result in a $375.00 cancellation fee.
    ● No-show or late cancellations create an unnecessary burden for staff and other patients.
  • 9
    Transportation
    After a ketamine infusion, you will not be able to drive or operate machinery for 24 hours.
    ● Please arrange for a responsible adult to drive you home.
    ● If using Uber or Lyft, a staff member will escort you to your car.
    ● After nitrous oxide treatment, you are permitted to drive yourself.

    Substances
    Refrain from using alcohol or recreational drugs for 24 hours following your infusion.

    Payment
    Payment is due at the time of treatment.

Aftercare guidance

Post-Procedure Instructions

Your comfort and safety after treatment are just as important as the infusion itself. Please follow these guidelines:

    Transportation
    Arrange for someone to drive you home and stay with you for 24 hours following your infusion.
  • 2
    Activity
    Avoid driving, operating heavy machinery, or making important decisions for 24 hours (unless nitrous oxide was used without IV medication).
  • 3
    Substances
    Do not consume alcohol or recreational drugs for the next 24 hours.
  • 4
    For Nitrous Oxide Patients
    Take Vitamin B12 daily for two weeks after each treatment.

Important Notice Regarding Discontinuation of Ketamine Treatment Services

Lone Star Infusion will discontinue providing ketamine infusion and treatment services effective February 23, 2026. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand this news may be concerning to you.

What This Means for Your Care

After February 23, 2026 our clinic will no longer provide ketamine treatments. You will need to establish care with another provider to continue ketamine therapy, or work with your treating psychiatrist or pain management physician to explore alternative treatment options.

Your Immediate Next Steps

  1. Contact your prescribing psychiatrist, primary care physician, or pain management specialist to discuss your ongoing treatment plan and alternatives.
  2. If you wish to continue ketamine therapy, please review the enclosed list of physician-supervised ketamine clinics in the Houston area. We do not endorse any particular provider; this list is provided for your convenience only.
  3. Contact our office to schedule any final appointments before [closure date] and to discuss your transition of care.

Your Medical Records

Your treatment records will remain available through Lone Star Infusion. To request copies of your records or to authorize transfer to a new provider, please contact our office at 281.947.3268 or send a written request to 14740 Barryknoll Lane, Ste. 140, Houston, TX 77079. There is no charge for transferring records to your new treatment provider.

Continuation of Care During Transition

We stay committed to your care during this transition period. Please contact our office at 281.947.3268 if you have questions, need to schedule appointments before our closure date, or require assistance with your transition to a new provider.

We understand this transition may be difficult, and we appreciate the trust you have placed in us for your care. Our staff is available to assist you during this process.
